We assist you with

Reception and verification of original documents required from the couple within 3 months prior to the wedding date.
Scheduling appointments by email/phone with the Mauritian Civil Status Office and the French Embassy.
Submission of marriage files at least 2 months before the ceremony to the Mauritian Civil Status Office and the French Embassy.
Round-trip car transfers for the couple between their place of residence and the various appointments (in the capital and the wedding region).
Accompaniment of the couple to appointments with original documents, for the publication of the banns.
Payment of administrative fees to the Mauritian Civil Status Office.

Coverage of the transportation of the civil registrar to the wedding venue (if necessary).
Issuance of a marriage certificate.
Collection of the marriage certificate one day after the ceremony from the civil registry office.
Submission of the marriage certificate to the Prime Minister’s Office for apostille (legalization for international recognition).
Submission of the apostilled marriage certificate to the French embassy.
Follow-up with the embassy for the registration of the marriage and the request for a family record book. The family record book will then be sent by diplomatic pouch to the couple’s town hall. Delay in obtaining the family record book: 7 to 8 months minimum.
